Diane Gentile was diagnosed with MS in 1997 and has battled strongly. Her dedication to physical therapy and meeting with a personal trainer has helped her to delay the progression over the years. She was an avid seamstress for years making the costumes for the local dance studios. The sequins are still remnant. Unfortunately, she has lost the ability to do the detailed work of her passion as have others who suffer from this neurological disorder. She still enjoys doing more basic projects such as pillowcases for the kids at Christmas. In addition to MS, she has also beat cancer, and until last year was able to maintain her ability to walk. Every day is an ongoing struggle, and she continues to push through it all. It is in her honor we wanted to raise awareness as well as research funding to possibly find a cure.
This month we are helping out one of our own raise money for the MS Walk as in honor of her partners Mom who continues to fight everyday for a cure and refuses to give up.
