Monday, December 15th, 2025 – What started as a small company of six people in 1997 has gradually grown into an organization of 75+ freight-loving employees eager to learn and grow as the industry evolves.
However, growth comes with more responsibility–more customers to support, more challenges to overcome, more learning opportunities for professional and personal development–but it also comes with more wins to celebrate.
2025 has been a year of growth in many ways for Trans-Border; the launch of GoLTL, the release of TBX, an updated website, recruiting more freight-obsessed employees to add to our (already stacked) roster, and–to add one more win before the years end–the addition of three new, but familiar, directors to our all-star Director Team.
Meet the Director Team
For the last few years, our Director Team has included Sumar Bhatti, Director of Freight Operations; Kelly Jackson, Director of Operational Excellence; Brunilda Carroll, Director of Exports; and Dianne Klamm, Director of National Accounts. Together, they’ve helped shape the culture of Trans-Border and inspire the next generation of logistics professionals.
Starting January 1st, 2026, our Director Team will gain three new members to continue and build upon the framework set by Sumar, Kelly, Brunilda, and Dianne.
Brendon Fisher, Director of IT & Systems
One of the biggest improvements Trans-Border has made in the last few years is investing in our technology–and the driving force behind it all is none other than Brendon Fisher.
Brendon started with Trans-Border a couple years ago, bringing a new perspective to our IT department to help advance our technology capabilities. Two major improvements he spearheaded were 1) the implementation of automated status messaging, and 2) the development, creation, and launch of TBX–our new and improved tracking portal.
Because of Brendon’s continuous innovation, commitment to improving our systems, and unmatched knowledge of logistics technology, he joins the Director Team as our Director of IT & Systems.

Damien Jarrett, Director of Sales
As an industry veteran, Damien Jarrett brings a wealth of operational and sales knowledge to Trans-Border. His career in logistics started in the UK but brought his expertise to the states where he began with Trans-Border just over six years ago.
Damien has a deep understanding of the industry that allows him to easily educate customers, answer tough questions, and solve problems in unique ways. With him leading the charge, our sales force is growing, and new sales tools will soon be implemented to support our growing team of industry leaders.
Damien has held the title of Inside Sales Manager, Sales Manager, and now joins the Director Team as our Director of Sales.

Zachary (Zach) Pyle, Director of Domestic Operations
Zach Pyle has been with Trans-Border for nearly a decade, beginning his career at Trans-Border in Export operations and pricing, then taking on the challenge of Project Logistics Manager, and most recently began leading our Domestic team as General Manager.
Zach is a leader through and through–he consistently shows up for his team, bringing together new and familiar faces to transform and strengthen the Domestic department to position themselves as leaders in the industry. Zach’s ability to adapt to new teams and help where his expertise is needed showcases his resilience and dedication to not only the industry, but also his personal growth.
In his time as General Manager of Domestic, Zach proved he is more than capable of taking on additional responsibilities and leading his team to success. Because of his resilience and dedication to his team, Zach joins the Director Team as our Director of Domestic Operations.
