Welcome to Trans-Border, Brunella Prado-Salhuana!

 In Company News, New Hires

Everyone please welcome the newest member of our export operations team – Brunella Prado-Salhuana! Brunella comes to Trans-Border with several years of logistics experience and is excited to continue learning and growing in the industry.

Brunella is a native of Peru who spent most of her upbringing in Queens, NY, where she resided until recently moving to the Capitol Region. Brunella holds an associates degree in Computer Networking and has spent the majority of her career working for a cargo handling company contracted out to Korean Air at JFK Airport.

Beginning in a data entry role, Brunella quickly became a supervisor in charge of operations, customer service, on-site training, and even tracking down and solving mishandled cargo problems. “I always push myself to learn more things,” Brunella credits for her rapid rise at the company. “I never let doubts stick around, I will always ask the question.”

In her new role at Trans-Border, Brunella is excited to participate in the larger supply chain industry. “I actually got my first introduction to the larger logistics industry from my customers,” she explains. Brunella’s customers, who were handling the entire logistics processes at their companies, were the people who first introduced her to the full-cycle logistics process. “Its like learning a new language, and I am very excited.”

Outside of the office, Brunella loves to take spontaneous road trips. She recently drove by herself from NYC, to Boston, and then on to Toronto! Brunella also has an affinity for building and creating, specifically with Legos and 3D Puzzles.

We are very excited to welcome Brunella to Trans-Border! Stop by Brunella’s desk or send her a welcome message at bprado@tbgfs.com.
