Welcome to Trans-Border, Chris Jupin!

 In Company News, New Hires

Please give a warm welcome to the newest member of our export operations team — Chris Jupin! Chris is eager to start his career in the supply chain industry here at Trans-Border!

He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Global Supply Chain Management and most recently obtained his Master’s degree in Engineering Management from Clarkson University. Chris is also Green Belt Certified. Back in the summer of 2019 he had his first professional experience within the industry when he interned with each department here at Trans-Border.

Chris grew up in Clifton Park and was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes as a child. His diagnosis did not slow him down whatsoever. He played soccer his whole life; playing Division III at Clarkson where he had the opportunity to play in the Netherlands and Germany. Exploring the world became one of his passions. He studied abroad for a semester in Strasbourg, France and traveled all over Europe during that time including Ireland, the UK, Spain, and Italy. Even though Chris isn’t the biggest fan of flying he wants to continue to travel and experience new places.

After five years of school, the last few semesters being online due to the pandemic, Chris is most excited to “just start working!”  When asked what the best part of being back at TBGFS was, he said, “Talking to people face to face!” Chris made several good relationships here as an intern and is excited to continue growing and learning the industry.

Chris is inspired by the example his parents have set for him by having an excellent work/life balance. He hopes to emulate his father’s work ethic and the way both his parents have been able to take care of his family.

We are very happy to have Chris back at Trans-Border! Stop by his desk or drop him a welcome message at cjupin@tbgfs.com.
