Welcome to Trans-Border, Dan Fisher!

 In Company News, New Hires

Please give a warm welcome to the newest member of our export operations team – Dan Fisher! Dan comes to Trans-Border with enthusiasm and excitement to start his new role in the logistics industry.

Dan grew up in Waterford, NY and went to Shenendehowa High School. For the past six and a half years Dan has been a Pharmacy Technician and Inventory Specialist at one of the top 20 CVS locations in the country. He has had his fair share of experience with supply chains and the current stress the industry is under.

Dan and his finacé own a consulting business for the Pokémon card game. They are a licensed retailer and work with several distrubitors.  They also travel around New England running events for gaming shops. Dan’s favorite type of event to run is a pre-release where they get to debut the newest cards two weeks prior to the actual release date. During the event there is a tournament with awesome prizes and other fun promotional items.

In his free time Dan enjoys going on bike rides, hiking, kayaking, and skiiing. His favorite place to travel to is the Adirondack Mountains, as soon as he sees the welcome sign he is at peace. His favorite genre of music is alternative, he is a self proclaimed video game junkie, and if he could learn a new skill in ten minutes he would love to be a fantastic piano player!

Dan is most excited for the opportunity to learn more about logistics and the supply chain. So far, the best part of being at Trans-Border has been meeting everyone. He appreciates that “everyone has been nice and easy to approach.” Dan describes himself as honest, kind, and dependable. He is inspired by “seeing the opportunities to succeed in life” and taking steps to improve himself.

We are very excited to have Dan at Trans-Border! Stop by Dan’s desk or drop him a welcome message at dfisher@tbgfs.com.
