Meet Courtney—our newest team member joining our Export Pricing team! Courtney is a Capital Region native, growing up in Voorheesville before going off to school at Providence College. While she loved her time at school, the Capital Region has always been her home and knew she wanted to return after graduation. Courtney has not worked in freight forwarding before, and in fact, this is her first job out of college as she just graduated in May! We’re so happy to welcome you into the world of freight and office life, Courtney! 😊 As a recent college grad, Courtney enjoys watching TV and traveling, and loves to spend her free time reading and exploring libraries and bookstores. As a travel lover, it’s no surprise Courtney would choose teleportation as her superpower since it would be a lot easier to travel if she could magically appear at her desired destinations. For now, she’ll continue her travels by car, plane or train, listening to her favorite musical or movie soundtracks with some K-Pop sprinkled in to pass the time. If given the choice between an all-inclusive vacation and a camping trip, Courtney would choose camping because it brings back fond memories of her family’s summer trips to the Adirondacks, including days spent on the lake and evenings making s’mores—very nostalgic and now I’m craving a s’more! Because of Courtney’s love for music and musicals, she would invite Jeremy Jordan, Niall Horan, and Kenny Ortega to her exclusive dinner party—talk about dinner and a show! Courtney can be described as opinionated, loyal, and passionate, and shared a piece of advice she’d give her younger self: try to stress out less and trust that everything will work out in the end.
