Meet Denver – our newest team member joining our Trade Finance team. Denver grew up in Schoharie County and went to school at SUNY New Paltz where he worked in IT support after graduating in 2023. Although Denver is new to freight forwarding, he is very excited to learn the business and get to know everyone at Trans-Border! Denver also has two cats at home he would do anything for – what a good cat dad! Denver enjoys spending his free time playing frisbee, video games, and going on hikes. He is also learning to speak Japanese as it is on his bucket list to travel to Japan soon. Denver would do anything to avoid traffic, so his choice of superpower would be flight – if only he could summon that power on his travels to Japan! When creating his guest list for his exclusive dinner party, Denver would invite Jim Carrey for his humor, Barak Obama for good conversation, and Ellen DeGeneres for her humor as well – would love to listen to that conversation as a fly on the wall! Denver enjoys listening to both music and podcasts, so on his cross-country road trip he’d listen to a mix of indie/alternative music and his favorite theoretical/conspiracy theory podcasts. Denver can be described as kind, logical, and passionate, and lives by the motto of the Golden Rule/believing in karma.
