Meet Gwenn—our newest team member joining our Import Pricing team! Gwenn is local to the 518, growing up in Saratoga Springs. Before joining Trans-Border, she worked in the apparel and retail industry but after hearing great things about TBGFS and freight forwarding, she decided to give it a try and learn something completely new! Gwenn is quite the world traveler, having been to 4/7 continents, 30/50 U.S. states, as well as 11/63 U.S. National Parks! One of her favorite trips was when she spent a month living in Ireland with her family post-graduation. It was her first time abroad, so it was an extra memorable trip for her! Outside of traveling, Gwenn also enjoys skiing, hiking, and reading in her free time. Given Gwenn’s adventurous spirit, it’s not surprising that she would choose teleportation as her superpower of choice and would prefer to go on a backpacking/camping trip. The outdoors is Gwenn’s happy place and being immersed in the environment she’s exploring is a very special experience to her—plus, you can really learn a lot about yourself in those situations! Along her travels, Gwenn prefers to listen to her favorite music artists like The Lumineers, Mumford & Sons, Zach Bryan, Mt. Joy, Noah Khan, and Billy Joel to name a few. Gwenn can be described as compassionate, driven, and curious (all great qualities to bring to Import Pricing!) and shared this piece of advice: give yourself some grace—you don’t need to have it all figured out (as no one really does!); the fun part is figuring it out as you go!
