Meet Jessica—our newest team member joining our Import Operations department! Jessica is originally from Los Angeles (Calabasas) but moved to the Capital Region in 2005 to raise her three children; the youngest now in college at Boston University and the oldest recently got engaged—congratulations!!😊 Outside of work, Jessica loves tending to her garden, listening to music, going to concerts, kayaking in the Adirondacks, and being with her family and friends. As a big music fan, Jessica would choose to listen to all her favorites from the 60s and 70s on a cross country road trip, including James Taylor, Crosby, Stills & Nash, Grateful Dead, but would also mix in newer music from Vulfpeck! After many years of backpacking trips in the Colorado Rocky Mountains, Jessica would choose to trade in the tent and hiking boots for sandals and a hotel room on an all-inclusive vacation to her dream destination. She spent many summers in the mountains so now it’s her time to enjoy the rest and relaxation she deserves! If Jessica could choose any superpower in the world, it would be the power of invisibility so she could listen in on any and all conversations—oh, the secrets you’ll know! Jessica can be described as funny, generous, and grammar-crazy (double check your emails everyone!), and shared the advice of the grass is not always greener on the other side; it’s just covered in snow.
Welcome aboard, Jessica! Stop by her desk in Import Ops or send her a welcome message at jarthur@tbgfs.com.
