Meet Robert—our newest team member joining as a Global Supply Chain Intern for the summer of 2026! Robert is originally from Saratoga Springs but is currently finishing up his final two semesters as a global supply chain major at Clarkson University. Robert wanted to get some hands-on experience before graduation next year so he is looking forward to spending time with each of our departments to learn as much as he can about international logistics and freight forwarding! During the semesters, Robert spends his free time playing sports and training, but on his school breaks he enjoys hiking, skiing, golfing, and spending time with his dogs. As someone with a curious mind, Robert would prefer to go on backpacking/camping trip because he loves to do things that immerse himself in a new culture and allow him to create more authentic memories of his travels. Since Robert loves to explore new things, he would choose flight as his superpower so he could see the world from a new perspective—oh, the places you could go! If Robert was to host an exclusive dinner party, it would include some interesting A-list people with many different perspectives to share. First, he would invite Kobe Bryant to learn and talk about his winning mindset and dedication; second would be Jordan Spieth as he’s always been a huge fan of the pro-golfer on and off the course and the way he’s handled immense pressure throughout his career; and lastly, he would invite Brad Pitt since he is one of Robert’s favorite actors and would like to have the unique experience of getting to know him outside of the characters he plays on screen. Robert can be described as friendly, fun, and energetic and shared this piece of advice: “failing to prepare is preparing to fail.”
