Meet Rylee—our newest team member joining as our Human Resource Specialist! Rylee is originally from Duanesburg but now resides in Rotterdam with her husband and two cats named Duncan and Kobe. Before joining Trans-Border, Rylee was a Human Resource Coordinator supporting around 300 employees—hopefully our solid 80-person workforce isn’t too much for Rylee to handle! 😉 Outside of work, Rylee enjoys spending her free time with family and friends, playing basketball, going fishing, and exploring new restaurants with her husband. Every year, she takes a family and friend beach vacation to get everyone together for a time of endless laughter, swimming, and new adventures—one of her favorite yearly activities! If given the choice to go on an all-inclusive vacation or a backpacking trip, Rylee would choose the latter as she feels backpacking is more of an adventure—I am noticing a reoccurring theme in her free time activities! The backpacking trip would be even more of an adventure—and an easier one—if Rylee could use her chosen superpower of teleportation (imagine the places one could go!) but for now she’ll have to settle for adventures on foot, passing the time by listening to music, with late 90s, early 2000s hip-hop as her current genre of choice. Rylee can be described as reliable, funny, and compassionate (probably the trifecta of traits you’d want in HR!) and lives by the motto “stay true to yourself, and the rest will come”.
