Meet Spencer – our newest team member joining our Agent Pricing department. Spencer is a Capital Region native, originally from Waterford, and is brand new to freight forwarding but excited to learn the ropes of the industry! Before taking the leap to logistics, Spencer worked for the Department of Transportation dispatch center and as a car salesman at Toyota. Fun fact moment: Spencer is the only one in his immediate and extended family with red hair! Outside of work, you can find Spencer watching and supporting his beloved Portland Trailblazers (he’s seen them play in Brooklyn against the Nets and is going to see them in Portland for two home games this season too!!), watching and playing all kinds of sports, watching movies (his personal favorite is The Amazing Spider-Man with Andrew Garfield) or spending time with friends. Spencer’s choice of superpower would be teleportation (a very popular choice!) so he could travel wherever, whenever he pleases. Until then, he’ll have to pass his travel time by listening to his favorite music artists – Mac Miller, Greta Van Fleet, JID, Coldplay and Houndmouth. When hosting a dinner party, Spencer would invite his favorite NBA player, Damien Lillard, comedian Druski, and late-music artist, Mac Miller – that would be a great dinner party to attend! Spencer can be described as an easy-going person with a great sense of humor and would give his younger self the piece of advice of chase opportunities, don’t wait for them – a piece of advice we could all listen to!
